The improvement of India’s rural areas is one of the most significant contributors to the overall expansion of the Indian system. The agricultural sector is the primary economic driver in India. In India, agriculture is responsible for almost 20 percent of the country’s total gross domestic product. The goal of rural development is to provide more opportunities for rural residents to improve their standard of living in a way that is just and sustainable on multiple fronts, including the social and environmental environments (natural, physical, human, technological, and social capital).
Rural areas currently suffer from uneven and sluggish rates of technological diffusion. Even with significant effort, organizations that are designing technologies, products, and devices for rural areas may not be able to achieve their goals. This will be done with the utmost excitement for the advancement of technological capabilities.
To ensure that these goals are met, governments and non-governmental organizations should partner to identify the best strategies for bringing technological advancements to rural areas
